I started The Clear Stack because I kept watching good companies drown in the tools they bought to move faster, then slow down instead.
My background is not in engineering. It is in sales. Twenty two years of it, across more than thirty countries, sitting across the table from operators, founders, and the people who sign the checks. That is where I learned the thing most software people miss. The problem is almost never the technology. It is that nobody owns the whole picture.
Different teams buy different tools in different years. Each one solves a real problem in the moment. Nobody steps back to notice that three of them now do the same job, that none of them talk to each other, and that the staff has quietly become the integration layer, copying data and chasing updates by hand.
I build the systems that fix that. Not a deck about it. The working automation itself, handed off so your team owns it. The technical skill matters, but it is the years across industries and the real relationships behind them that make the work land. I have sat in the operator seat. I build like someone who has to live with the result.
I spent years closing deals. What I care about now is leaving you with a system that runs without me.
At most firms the person who sells you the engagement disappears the moment the contract is signed, and the work drops to whoever is free. Running one practice is the opposite. The person you trusted to understand your problem is the person solving it.
That is not a limitation of being small. It is the point. Nothing gets lost in translation between the strategy and the build, and every automation gets built to the standard of someone who will not be there at 11pm to patch it. That is how working directly with the principal goes, and it is rare for a reason.
Every engagement runs the same four steps, built from real implementation work rather than whitepapers.
